Who’s Manqué?

This work examines the politics and choreography of spectatorship through a series of daily performances that culminate in a series of Polaroid photographs. It investigates who the Spectator is, and how he or she operates within a gallery space. Many things can be said about the role of the Spectator and the notion I am most interested in is that the Spectators contribution to what he or she observes or trips over may very well be its authenticating signature.
